Sidereal Haus was founded by New York City based creative director, Jessica Kaplan. After almost two decades documenting the active, outdoor, snow and lifestyle sports sectors, covering both its creative and business narratives — along with chronicling cultural zeitgeists in music and art — Kaplan knew a second chapter in capturing moments was imminent. Paradigm shifts have been abundant in traditional media verticals; warranting a new way to present a point of view. Her longstanding passions for snowboarding, design and journalism married this shift in concept for her next venture in creative direction. Enter Jackson, Wyoming.

Having frequented Jackson for over a decade to snowboard the great Teton Range, Kaplan knew putting down roots was forthcoming — “it’s a magical place, who wouldn’t want to settle in this great western hub?” Through the vehicle of Sidereal Haus, Kaplan equally wanted to share this unique environment with anyone and everyone.

Rooted in sustainability, Sidereal Haus was conceptualized with a prerequisite to design and partner with likeminded artisans, brands and visionaries — through an editorial presentation — who bond over a dedication for the environment. Transparency is the new luxury — an approachable luxury, curated with authenticity.
